I am writing this post because I am concern about the members of Family Radio Worldwide who has been deceived by their prophecy of May 21, 2011 as the End of the World. And they also state that the Bible guarantees it. Let us study it and test it against the Holy Bible.
If we are going to use the Bible as a basis of our faith we must know firsthand what is its usage and benefit?
2Tm:3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Tm:3:17: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Ok now we know what's the use of it, we must know that there are lots of religion outhere that claims they are the right one, for this matter we must be careful as the scripture says this:
1Jo:4:1: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Col:2:8: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
So we need to test every one of them by using the Bible as our main basis.
Further we are also warned about preachers who seem to know the truth but are lying.
Ok, now let us ask the Bible where the End times will be?
M't:24:3: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
On these verse a disciple ask Jesus when will the End of the World will happen and what are the signs?
M't:24:4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
It is clearly said that let no man shall deceive you. Next is.
M't:24:5: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
M't:24:6: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
M't:24:7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
M't:24:8: All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Ok! So these are the signs that Jesus said that the End could be near it's called the great tribulation, On today's news we clearly hear and see that these signs are already happening, meaning the End of times are nearing. But what is the date? Before that, we should also be careful about this:
M't:24:23: Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
M't:24:24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Ok, so there will be a great man who will rise and deceive even the very elect ones. Watch for him.
Now back to the question when is the End of time be?
M't:24:34: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
M't:24:35: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
On the above verse it is guaranteed that the generation shall pass until all the above has been fulfilled,
and the date is?
M't:24:36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
There is the answer, if Jesus the Son of God did not know when the day and hour be, how come this Family Radio members know it?
Ok! We only have 5 days to their End of Times. If their prophecy has not been fulfilled, what's the meaning of it? What do the members will do now?
The scriptures says this:
Deuteronomy 18:22: When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
So meaning they believed a false prophet. That's the reason we need to read the Bible and let it be the soul basis of our faith, so we are not easily be deceived.
Revelation 1:3: Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
The end of days will surely come no doubt about it, As for the members of this familyradio May 21, 2011 is not the date of the End of Times rather the End of Family Radio's religion whatever it is they are preaching.
